April 2015 Favorites

Hi Bellas!

I’ve been loving many products during the month of April and can’t wait to share them with you. I posted a video about my favorites on my channel, which you can watch here:

My April Favorites:

1-┬áColourPop Super Shock Blush in ‘Between the Sheets’ – This matte blush has a mousse texture and is surprisingly very pigmented. It’s a natural pink shade that suits numerous make-up looks. I also love how easy it is to blend and it gives me this natural pink flush to my cheeks.

2-┬áColourPop Super Shock Eyeshadows in ‘Hanky Panky’, ‘Bill’ and ‘Mittens’ – You might already know that I’ve been loving ColourPop’s eyeshadows. They have a moussy and creamy texture and glide onto my lids perfectly. Stay tuned for my next make-up tutorial because I used the shade ‘Mittens’!

3- Kiko Lipstick in 614 – My dear friend Alya gave me this lipstick and I absolutely love it. It’s a matte deep berry shade and it’s stunning. I love pairing this lipstick with a wing liner and it ends up being a nice dramatic look.

4- Bourjois Velvet Lip Cream in ‘Don’t Pink of It!’ – I love these Bourjois lip creams. Some of them have a better staying power than others. But this color in particular is a neutral pink and it’s perfect for days when you just want a bit of color on your lips.

5- Wow by Wujooh Lipstruck Lip Lacquer in ‘Henna Stain’ – This is the most longwearing liquid lipstick I have ever tried. It’s a beautiful mauve-ish berry shade and it doesn’t dry my lips.

6- Chelsea Beautique Eyebrow Kit – This is the best eyebrow kit I’ve ever tried. I really like using the ‘Natural’ stencil because it helps me fill in my brows perfectly and quickly. It also comes with tweezers and dual-ended brush. I’m in the shade cappuccino.

7- Huda Beauty Waterproof Lash Glue – This is the best lash glue I’ve ever tried. I love that you don’t have to wait for it to be tacky and can apply the lash right away. It’s fast drying and sticks extremely well (to the point that it sometimes hurts when you remove it!). However, I don’t recommend this lash glue for beginners because the glue is dark grey and if you place it incorrectly, you could actually ruin your eye make-up (yes – this happened to me). The original DUO lash glue is perfect for beginners so once you get the hang of using that, you should definitely give this one a try!

I hope that you enjoyed this post! I’d love to hear which products you’ve been loving so feel free to leave me a comment below!
