Lately I’ve really been enjoying DIY projects. There’s just something exciting and rewarding about making something yourself. I wanted to share the recent floral arrangement I made. It’s so easy to make and you only need a few materials!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Fake flowers (choose whichever you like – I opted for lilac roses. I purchased them at Moods because they look extremely realistic)
- Styrofoam ball (I purchased mine at AlAnwar)
- UHU glue or a glue gun
- Scissors (this is not essential but you might need it)
- Vase of your choice
First, gather your materials in your workspace. Second, detach the roses from the stems. You’ll notice they easily come out and have a remaining tiny stem on each rose. This will come in handy when you have to apply the rose to the styrofoam ball.
Third, push each single rose into any area of the styrofoam ball. Then remove the rose and add glue to remaining stem in the back of the rose. Push it back into the hole you made in the styrofoam ball. Keep pushing the rose into the styrofoam for around a minute, until the glue is dry. Continue to do this for each rose on the styrofoam ball. Leave space in the bottom according to the vase size.
Once you complete the arrangement, you can place the arrangement in a vase or even leave it on its own as a table arrangement. It’s a beautiful arrangement that can be easily made!
I had a great time putting together this floral arrangement. You can even use fresh flowers but I used fake flowers because they’ll last forever. If you try this arrangement at home, show me a photo on Instagram or Twitter! Mention @themodestbelle or hashtag #themodestbelle. I look forward to seeing your arrangements!
