February 2015 Favorites

Hey Bellas!

I know February is the shortest month of the year but it really flew by! I have a few favorites this month so check out my video below.

1- ColourPop Lippie Stick in Lumiere: I love Kathleen Lights – she is one of my favorite YouTubers. So naturally, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the lippie stick she created with ColourPop. I really love this shade – it’s a dusty rosey mauve color. I love it because it’s matte but not drying and it’s very versatile.

2- MAC Lip Liners in Soar and Whirl: Kylie Jenner made these two lip liners extremely popular last year. I have been trying to get my hands on them for so long. I was running a quick errand in Seef Mall Arad and I noticed MAC. I was hesitant to enter because I knew the lip liners would be sold out (as per usual) but to my surprise – they were both in stock! I was so excited and I’ve been using them ever since. They’re both great lip liners that suit a lot of the lipsticks I’ve been applying lately. I must say that they’re a bit drying though – so keep that in mind if you have dry lips.

3- Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze & Glow: I’ve heard a lot about this bronzer and highlighter duo and knew I had to try it myself. I am pleased to say it is an amazing product. I love the highlighter shade more than the bronzer, but the bronzer is quite good as well. The bronzer is slightly shimmery so it’s definitely not for contouring – but I love that the shimmer doesn’t really show on my face. The highlighter is also slightly shimmery but it’s not overly shimmery and just adds a beautiful glow. The packaging is stunning – I love that it’s rose gold! Even though it’s a favorite of mine, it is expensive and I don’t think it’s a product that everyone needs to buy. I have just been making a lot of use of it!

4- Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Whiz in Medium Brown: Another cult favorite – I had to test if this product is worth the hype. To my surprise, it really is! I was really lucky that the color really suited my eyebrows. I love that the pencil is very thin so I can really fill in my brows properly and get a natural look.

5- Ardell False Lashes in #117: I couldn’t believe how natural these lashes look – they give me the added length I need without too much volume – making it appear more natural than other types of falsies. Sometimes you want to have falsies on without it being so obvious, am I right?! I have applied these falsies for a few events in February and I’ve received many compliments on them. I will definitely repurchase them because I absolutely love them!

6- Boots Botanics Gentle Eye Make-up Remover: I was hesitant to try this eye make-up remover because I normally don’t like oil-based eye make-up removers. This one is half oil and half of some other solution so it’s not irritating on the eyes at all. All you have to do is shake it then add a small amount onto a cotton pad then gently remove your eye make-up.

7- Erin Condren Life Planner: This is my favorite planner! I fell in love with it before I even received it. It’s so colorful and motivational. I love that it includes plenty of space for me to write my daily tasks, as well as monthly occasions and plans. There’s space to include notes and lists, which is perfect for a list-maker like myself! (Yes, I’m a Virgo!) I’d be more than happy to film a video and write a blog post where I can show you this planner in more detail. Let me know in the comments below if that’s something you’d be interested in!
