February Favorites

Hiii Bellas!

I’ve been quite busy lately as my sister’s wedding is approaching. It has been a fun month of celebrations – from the Parisian theme bridal shower to the traditional henna party. The wedding is in a few days and I’m really looking forward to it!

I wanted to share this with you as a few of my favorites are relevant to the occasion!

My February Favorites -

Lush’s ‘Dream Cream': This number 1 Lush product truly is a ‘dream!’ The product is described as a soothing and cooling cream that is designed to go on even the most sensitive and easily upset skins. This lotion leaves my skin feeling silky smooth! I can’t get enough of it. I tend to apply it after a warm shower.

MAC Lashes in No 4: These curly natural length lashes are the best! I only apply false lashes during specials occasions – and these are the lashes I use the most. The length is perfect and they’re not too thick, so when someone sees you they can’t instantly tell you’re wearing false lashes. Personally, I like it when false lashes look as natural as possible. All I have to do is cut the sides of these lashes to fit my eye-lashes perfectly. I have worn these lashes twice in the last month for a wedding and my sister’s henna party!

Madly Yours Loose Mineral Foundation: I discovered this brand at Harvey Nichols Kuwait. Madly Yours is the first Middle Eastern mineral makeup company that launched in Kuwait in 2003. I mainly love this foundation because it is full coverage. I also love that I don’t feel guilty when I apply it because it doesn’t congest my skin. It’s important to not apply heavy foundations daily, and that’s where tinted moisturizers, BB creams and mineral foundations come in handy!

YSL Rouge Volupte in No 6: If you read my previous favorites, you’ll know that this lipstick was already a favorite. Truth be told, this lipstick is still my favorite and has been my go-to lipstick!

Kryolan TV Paint Stick: When I used to see my sister apply this paint stick as a contour I used to think it looked crazy. But when you blend it well and see the result, it looks phenomenal! I started using this as a contour and I can’t go back! It creates a thin line and really sculpts your face, as opposed to using bronzer with a fluffy brush.

    Hi ms.pretty! ;)

I am raving about the Kryolan paint stick, I just don’t know where to get it here in Bahrain. Any suggestions? More power to your blog. Thanks! ;)

      Hi Raya!

There are several Kryolan stores in Bahrain. I know for a fact you can find Kryolan in Seef Mall, Enma Mall, and Muharraq. Hope this helps! Happy make-up shopping :)
