Hiii Bellas!

I just got back from a quick weekend trip to Kuwait. If you’ve been following me for a while now you might have noticed that I love LUSH. I’m addicted to their products! I love everything about the brand, especially their ethical values and commitment to fresh ingredients and handmade products. They don’t test any of their products on animals. Even their packaging is made out of recyclable materials and they promote recycling their products.

While I was in Kuwait, I headed to LUSH at The Avenues to stock up on my favorite products. I was also keen on trying several new products so I picked up a few (okay a lot) of new goodies! I wanted to share my latest LUSH haul along with a mini review on some of the products that I’ve already tried before.

I Love Juicy

Lush 5

This is my favorite shampoo! If you’ve read my March Beauty Favorites post, you already know how much I love this product. This shampoo will get rid of any build-up in your hair, along with nourishing your hair, leaving it soft and smooth (at least for me). The fruity smell is a bonus!

BIG Shampoo

Lush 3

This is my favorite volumizing shampoo! The sea salt in this shampoo will lift the roots of your hair, and give you instant volume. The coconut and seaweed in this shampoo will add softness to it. My hair is fine and thin, so I love using this shampoo when I need a bit of a lift! Your hair will smell like you’ve just been at the beach. I don’t really like that smell in my hair but I love the effect.

American Cream

Lush 6

I’ve heard a lot about this conditioner. Beauty gurus have claimed that this conditioner will moisture your hair without weighing it down and the smell will last in your hair for hours. I’m excited to try it!

Hair Doctor

This mask was given to me as a tester. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m looking forward to it. This mask is made of seaweed and mud, which will strengthen and moisturize the hair. Peppermint has also been added to stimulate blood flow.

Let The Good Times Roll Facial Cleanser

photo11_1

I’ve heard so much about this cleanser and just started using it. It’s made with popcorn so it smells absolutely amazing! It gently exfoliates your skin and leaves your skin soft and sweet! I must confess I mainly bought this product because it smells like caramel popcorn! So far, I’m enjoying the results of it.

Dark Angels

I haven’t tried this product yet but I bought it because it’s made for oily skin types. It claims to exfoliate the skin and will give it that tight clean feeling.

Ocean Salt

This is the best face scrub I’ve ever used. I use it once or twice a week at night to exfoliate my skin. Many people use it as a body scrub as well but I haven’t tried it on my body yet. It makes your skin feel as soft as baby’s bottom! I recommend applying a mask after exfoliating to add extra moisture and glow to your skin!

Brazened Honey

I just started using this mask and I’ve been loving the effect so far. It gives me a nice glow and I’m looking forward to seeing the results after using it in the long-term.

Catastrophe Cosmetic

I was given this mask as a tester but I’ve tried it before. It’s great for oily and acne-prone skin types. It helps banish breakouts and used to really help my skin when I was acne-prone. It reduces the size of blemishes and makes a huge difference in your skin!

Mint Julips Lip Scrub

photo7_1

I love LUSH’s lip scrubs! I’ve tried Bubblegum and Popcorn before, and just like I thought, Mint Julips is just as good! It’s a minty chocolate flavor and it really exfoliates your lips. I love using this scrub before applying a bold lipstick. Lately my lips have been dry (probably from the weather) so this scrub has been my savior!

Honey Trap

Beauty gurus keep raving about this lip balm so I decided to try it. I really like the lip balm but it’s not as moisturizing as other lip balms I’ve tried. It’s great to apply on your lips before applying lip liner or lipstick. It’s also great to carry in your purse!

Lovely Jubblies Breast Cream

photo12_1

This sounds like a strange product but a friend was raving about it which made me eager to try it. Even though it is a breast cream, it can be used anywhere on the body for tightening and firming. I’ve just started using this product and I’m applying it mainly on my shoulders and legs.

The Comforter Bubble Bar and Sakura Bath Bomb

Lush

This blackcurrant bubble bar is amazing! The fruity scent smells so good that you want to eat it (but don’t!). It’s a large bar, so you can break it into six pieces for six different baths.

The Sakura Bath Bomb is a refreshing floral dip into springtime! The floral scent is amazing and relaxing for a lovely treat. I think it’s important to treat yourself and spoiling yourself with a bubble bath and bath bomb every now and then is a must!

Tisty Tosty

Lush 2

This rose scented bath bomb is exquisite! The rose scent is said to ease tension and it’s also good for dry skin. I would definitely repurchase this bath bomb!

Tender is the Night Massage Bar

Tender is the Night massage bar - LUSH

This massage bar is made of vanilla, jasmine and shea butter. I’ve only used it once but I’m already loving it! After you shower, massage it onto damp skin and not only will your skin be smooth, but you’ll smell great! Massage bars melt at body temperature, so you’ll feel the oils absorbing into your skin!

Strawberry Feels Forever Massage Bar

This massage bar is made with crushed strawberries and hibiscus flowers. It smells delicious and I’m looking forward to trying it!

Each Peach (And Two’s a Pair) Massage Bar

Each_PEach

I haven’t tried this product yet but it claims to brighten and revive your skin. It’s super emollient and moisturizing for the skin.

You Snap the Whip Body Butter

thumbs_40449-an-addicti.jpg.660x0_q80_crop-scale_upscaleMy friend recommended this product to me. It’s a hardcore blackcurrant and charcoal scrub that is meant to brighten the skin. I’m looking forward to trying this product!

Stepping Stone Foot Scrub

lush-stepping-stone-foot-scrubI love pedicures more than the next girl, but it’s important to take care of your feet at home too. I usually use a body scrub to scrub my feet but when I saw this product, I figured it would be more effective. I haven’t tried it yet but it claims to scrub away dry and rough skin.

I also got two massage bar tins and was given bars of soaps as testers. Excited to try them!

      Hi Theresa,
Thank you for the comment. I’m not sure as I haven’t experienced pregnancy myself, but I heard that LUSH products are safe to use during pregnancy, but of course you must take precautions. Try to use natural products like cocoa butter or jojoba oil to moisturize your skin. Aim for natural, organic products that are free of toxins and chemicals. Hope this helps :)
