Saks Fall/Winter 2013 Fashion Show

Last Thursday, I attended Saks Fifth Avenue’s Fall/Winter 2013 Fashion Show along with Bahrain’s fashion bloggers and socialites. I loved that the entire first floor was transformed for this spectacular night. The event was well planned and organized, which is sometimes rare to find in Bahrain.

I was looking forward to viewing the latest Fall/Winter collections because I love fall and winter fashion.¬†Autumn nights and edgy holiday looks dominated the runway. The opening was strong and I was captivated from the very start. I couldn’t help but feel nostalgic while watching the fall/winter looks as it reminded me of cold winter nights in London (I miss it!). It made me want to travel to an urban city and strut around in leather boots.

The fashion show featured the most coveted designers including: Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Chloe, Stella McCartney, Marni, Emilio Pucci, Manish Arora, The Row, Saint Laurent, Tadashi Shoji, and Sofia Al Osfoor.
