Ultimate Relaxation at Six Senses Spa

The Spa Reception

I recently took a much needed short break to Kuwait. I had a great time shopping and indulging in delicious food! There was still something missing from my trip. I needed time to relax and relieve my recent muscle pain. I stayed at Hotel Missoni, and Six Senses Spa is conveniently located there. I heard raving reviews about the spa and I decided to try their hot stone massage. Lucky for me, it was exactly what I needed! Relaxing, de-stressing and luxurious!

A hot stone massage is a special massage when the therapist uses smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body while they massage other parts of the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles. It’s especially nice to enjoy a hot stone massage during the colder months.

I was impressed with how organized the spa was. The friendly staff are welcoming and extremely helpful. They really care about every detail and ensure guests are pleased with their visits.  The massage therapist Kim took great care of me and made sure the massage pressure was just the way I like it. The massage really helped relieve all the knots in my muscles.

The Massage Room

After my massage, Kim escorted me to the Relaxation Room. As the name suggests, it is a room where you relax after your treatments. I was also offered ginger tea and a delicious little treat. I felt so zen and serene that I didn’t want to leave! I was so comfortable and finally felt what a ‘peace-of-mind’ feels like.

The Pathway to the Treatment Rooms

Everything about my experience at Six Senses Spa was spectacular – from the massage itself to the mint-infused water! Next time you’re in Kuwait, take a break and treat yourself to a massage at the spa – you deserve it!
