Last month I was in desperate need of a change of scenery – what I needed was a getaway to Kuwait! I have been to Kuwait almost ten years ago and it has changed significantly since then. I finally made time to visit Kuwait again and I was thrilled to stay at the fashionable Hotel Missoni. I must say the hotel is phenomenal – it was absolutely a joy to experience it!
We stayed at the Maggiore Suite – which is a glamorous and spacious room embodying the Missoni aesthetic – vibrant and colorful accents. I love that there is a separate living room and dining area – as there is plenty of room for relaxation and comfort. I must add that the view from our suite was impeccable!
I mainly shopped and dined at The Avenues Mall as it’s gigantic! It truly is a beautiful mall with endless shops and a wide selection of restaurants and cafes.
I love how you’re inside the mall, but feel like you’re strolling outdoors!
Loved this area!

I saw many well-dressed ladies in Kuwait. I noticed that Kuwaitis love to dress up and look good – well who doesn’t? They’re also brave, confident and not afraid to try new trends. Many women were rocking prints and bold colors. They also know how to apply proper make-up. Even the security woman at the airport had a lot of make-up on and false lashes! They really are exceptional women.
Even though I only spent a weekend in Kuwait, I absolutely loved it and enjoyed every minute of it! I can’t wait to visit again. I will be reviewing the restaurants I’ve been to in the ‘Food’ section in my blog – so stay tuned for that part!
Have you visited Kuwait? Feel free to share what you thought of it! If you’re planning on visiting Kuwait, you must stay at the Hotel Missoni! It’s one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I liked that the staff are friendly and take good care of you. Though I wish I could’ve stayed longer – I look forward to staying there again during my next visit!
Until Next Time, Missoni
